About Aceway Driving School

My name is Ali Shahraki, and I’ve been a driving instructor since 2004. I founded Aceway Driving School in Birmingham with one clear mission: to help people become confident, capable and safe drivers for life.

What began as a one-man operation has grown into a respected family-run school, trusted across the West Midlands and backed by a 5-star Google rating from hundreds of happy pupils and instructors over the last 20+ years that we have been in business. 
Who We Are
Alongside teaching learner drivers, I specialise in training people to become driving instructors.
My qualifications include:
> Diamond Advanced Examiner
> Level 4 Coaching & Driver Development qualification
> Advanced Elite Driver & Trainer (many years of experience)
> Fleet Driver Trainer
> ORDIT-registered Instructor Trainer since 2010
> Grade A ADI since the grading system began

I also provide advanced driver training, including examiner-level standards and ROSPA / police-style driving techniques.

Aceway truly is a family business. My wife is a Grade A driving instructor teaching manual lessons, and our son is currently training to join the profession. We treat every pupil and trainee as part of our extended family — with patience, integrity, and a genuine commitment to helping them succeed.

Our Mission
Our goal is simple:
To help as many people as possible to pass their driving test, become safer drivers, and change their lives through driving.

To support learners beyond the in-car lessons, I launched a YouTube channel sharing expert tips, guidance and demonstrations — helping thousands of drivers across the UK, not just in Birmingham.
